What a wonderful world
Annika Louise Mathia came into the world on a warm summer evening in a beautiful birthing house in Munich, Germany. Annika took her first breaths without a single cry and rested quietly in her mother’s arms during her first hours in the outside world... surrounded by her father, grandmother, and mom’s friend. Her arrival, assisted by two amazing mid-wives, couldn’t have been more smooth and gentle and her welcome not more loving and tender.
Within a couple of hours after the birth, mother and baby went home into the sweet care of the father and enjoyed the privilege of grandma’s wise support through the first night.
Dad remains proud as can be of his strong wife and beautiful new daughter.
